Sensex down 370 points, ONGC drops 3%
Buying is emerging at lower levels, and the Sensex is now down 371 points at 14,729. NSE Nifty is trading at 4,283, down 120 points. Bharti is still down over 4% at Rs 832. RCom is still down 3.6% at Rs 517. HDFC has dropped 4% to Rs 1,935. ONGC has declined over 3% to Rs 838. ICICI Bank and SBI continue to be down over 3% each at Rs 859 and Rs 1,600, respectively. Reliance is still down 2.6% at Rs 1,794. Hindalco, Tata Steel, HDFC Bank and BHEL are also weak. Market breadth continues to be bearish - out of 2,463 scrips traded till now, 1,816 have declined. Sensex @ 1233 hrs: The Sensex is still down 400 points at 14,700. NSE Nifty is trading at 4,280, down 123 points. Sensex @ 1211 hrs: The Sensex is now down 440 points at 14,660.
